Working on it really slow... and only 1 week left........

The sky look a bit messy and it didn't look like sky at all

Had so much fun in acting class! too bad it's the last one. It boost my self confident a lot and help to me to speak up in front of everyone.

It doesn't look like the one in the photo anymore since i have used construction on it.

Last Friday in drawing lesson, I learnt that when doing an accurate lifestill drawing to use construction will make it harder. 

Colour isn't working either... i think my tablet is showing different colour....

This time i used bigger brush and set the colour right
It look cleaner than the last one

A bit slow working on it with a tiny brush and the detail 

I should speed up a bit more and use bigger brush 

Decided to upload both to see the progress 

The corner of the smoke takes away the focus point from the monkey king's face and losing the flow of the smoke.
The smoke should be a guide of the Monkey King's face or guide the viewer/ audience's eye to move around the painting. And of course there will be something on the blank area.

Had a digital painting demo today and went practicing paint referring from the demo

Not too much for me
huge improve from the previous digital painting but need to improve more!

Not update on lady and self portrait but...... i did some quick drawing on photoshop  yesterday.Too bad I didn't time it . I should start record the time I need to do a quick drawing .

Add some bubble or some "sea trees" and  sea weed will do a better job

A bit tired today and lazy as well...

Studying or learning can be tiring, so much to learn, so much to do to improve. I just want to keep drawing and keep improving.
I have to keep pushing myself to improve

On my dialogue, I did all my key frames and breakdowns. Then shown it to my tutor to get some good feedback on my dialogue assignment about how some of the key frames is not syncing to the dialogue and breaking some strong drawing down.

And sometime I think i over thinking on my idea and push the character and me too much ,and make my animation or assignment as too complicated. For example : the action is too extreme and too much for me to handle. I guess I should slow down on pushing myself to improve

Today went on a trip to watch "Inside out" with Animation College. A really sad and a awesome movie. The message I get from the movie is that it's OK to be sad , you can't be happy all the time and sometime being sad is a other way to be happy. 
me and my poor English isn't making sense XD

An update for flaming mountain:
Here I added some colour for the sky

As I go on my tutor came to me and shown me a really easy way to do it without ruining or effect the foreground, mountain or the sky by separate them.So that I don't have to go over it to fix it and it a smarter and faster way to do illustration when working for a client. Also shown me some cool trick of multiply and overlay layer.

With this from now on Photoshop will be a lot easier to me :)
